WhatsApp To Introduce In-App Chat Support For Windows Users
According to reports, WhatsApp, which is owned by Meta, is introducing a new feature that enables users to receive in-app chat support directly from the official WhatsApp Support, eliminating the need to switch to email for assistance.
This feature is currently available to anyone who installs the latest WhatsApp beta for Windows from the Microsoft Store.
“When we announced the screen sharing feature with the WhatsApp beta for Windows 2.2322.1.0 update, we noticed that the new in-app chat support is rolling out to everyone in the latest version of the app, which is available on the Microsoft Store,” WABetaInfo said.
This feature, which is already available on WhatsApp for iOS, Android and Desktop Electron, allows users to contact official WhatsApp support and get a response directly on WhatsApp chat.
According to the report, all you need to do is install the latest Windows update and select the “Contact Us” option.
A screenshot shared by WABetaInfo shows that it is now possible to get a response in WhatsApp chat when you ask for help. However, if you don’t want to receive an answer directly in WhatsApp chat, you can still request support by email.
Users can enjoy solving their problems or getting help without leaving the app when they can get support on WhatsApp chat.
They no longer need to switch between WhatsApp and email, making the process faster and more efficient. This feature can certainly help users save time and effort, and they can have real-time chats with the WhatsApp support team, the report said.
The latest WhatsApp for Windows update, available on the Microsoft Store, now allows users to get answers directly from WhatsApp support in chat. If you don’t see the update yet, it may be rolling out to more users over the next few days.
