Anthropic launches iPhone app for Claude AI chatbot with updated subscription options
Anthropic, the company responsible for the AI-driven chatbot Claude, has launched its iOS app, marking Claude’s first appearance on mobile devices. The announcement, which was made on Wednesday, signifies the app’s global availability. This development signifies a major expansion beyond Claude’s web interface, providing users with a tailored smartphone experience.

One of the notable features of the iPhone app is its visual capabilities. With the user’s consent, the application can use the device’s camera and photo library to perform real-time image analysis. Subscription plans and prices
Although the app is free to download, users are subject to the same restrictions as the free version of the web interface. Access is limited to Haiku or Sonnet AI models, and the daily message limit is determined by server load. Claude offers three AI versions – Haiku, Sonnet and Opus – each offering varying speeds and levels of intelligence.
To unlock additional features and bypass usage restrictions, users can choose a Pro subscription for $20 per month. This subscription gives access to all three AI models, more chat restrictions and priority access during peak hours.
In addition to individual subscriptions, Anthropic has introduced a Teams plan tailored for companies. Priced at $30 per user per month with a minimum of five seats, this package offers enhanced features such as higher utilization rates, access to 200,000 context window spaces for working with long documents, and all the benefits of the Pro level.
