Newly Launched iQOO Z9 5G Comes with Android 14 and 5000mAh Battery: Price and Features in India
iQOO has launched its latest budget offering, the iQoo Z9 5G in the Indian market this week. iQoo’s latest Z-series smartphone is packed with features and loads of features without putting a dent in your wallet. The iQoo Z9 5G has a 50-megapixel main camera on the back and a 120Hz refresh rate display on the front.
The phone has the latest Funtouch OS 14, which is based on the Android 14 operating system. It also has an IP54 rated dust and waterproof layer. Early bird sale of iQoo Z9 5G will begin on March 13 at 12:00 PM IST. The official sale of the product to all users will start the next day on March 14 through Amazon India, iQoo India Store and other retailers.

The phone has a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a screen resolution of 2400 × 1080 pixels, a pixel density of 394 ppi and a peak brightness of 1800 nits. It also has a 91.90 percent screen-to-body ratio and a 300Hz touch sample rate. The screen of the iQoo Z9 5G has DT-Star 2 Plus glass protection.

The iQOO Z9 5G features an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. You get the device with Funtouch OS 14 version, which is based on Android 14.

The iQOO Z9 5G has dual rear cameras with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main sensor with optical image stabilization and f/1.79 aperture. The phone also has a secondary 2-megapixel depth sensor with an aperture of f/2.4. The smartphone’s front camera has a 16-megapixel sensor that ensures that selfies are crisp and sharp. The iQoo Z9 5G’s primary camera sensor can also record 4K video at 30 fps.

The iQOO Z9 5G has a large 5,000mAh battery and support for 44W fast charging, and you get an adapter in the box.

The iQOO Z9 5G has been launched in India at a base price of Rs 19,999. This version has 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The second model includes the same amount of RAM but more storage at 256GB. The iQOO Z9 5G is available in two color options including Brushed Green and Graphene Blue.
The brand is offering a fixed discount of Rs 2,000 if you use either an ICICI or HDFC debit card. That would bring down the actual cost of the products to Rs 17,999 and Rs 19,999 respectively. iQOO competes in this range with brands like Nothing and OnePlus Nord.
