As for the new version of OxygenOS based on Android 14, it comes with updated Aquamorphic Design, Pantanal Service for interactive Fluid Cloud and more. The update also includes cross-device support, which allows users to quickly check the connection status of their devices.
The update also includes Aquamorphic-themed ringtones, a new File Dock that makes it easier to transfer content between apps and devices, and features like Content Extraction for recognizing and extracting text and images.
The Smart Cut Out feature separates photo items for copying or sharing. The update improves the stability of the system and introduces the CO2 tracking Always-On Display, which shows how more steps can reduce CO2 emissions.
The OnePlus 12 has made its debut in China this week and is already getting Android 14-based software out of the box. The phone will launch globally in January, which could bring OxygenOS 14 to buyers from day one.
