Microsoft discontinues support for PC-compatible Mixed Reality app.
(Reuters) – Microsoft on Thursday ended a “mixed reality” feature for Windows that allows some devices and software to take advantage of augmented and virtual reality technologies. The company released the feature in a Windows 10 update in 2017, and the mix reality portal app allowed users to access the technology on their personal computers using compatible VR headsets.
