3 Amazing Google AI Applications That Will Blow Your Mind

During the Google I/O 2023, significant AI announcements were made, particularly for Google Bard which received multi-modal capabilities, PaLM 2, and MusicLM updates. Additionally, Google Workspace saw several AI additions. Recently, Google has introduced even more advanced AI features and tools that are capable of identifying skin conditions, providing virtual clothing try-ons, and assisting with navigation. These tools are truly remarkable.

Check out all the new features that have been announced.

1. Virtual experiment

Have you ever been online shopping but wondered how the clothes fit? If so, Google’s new AI tool will help you with that. Google’s Virtual Try On feature allows users to see clothes based on their body type. How does it work? Well, Google took pictures of 80 models, 40 men and 40 women, in different positions and with different body types. When you select an item of clothing, Google lets you place it on a model of your choice to see how it fits. There is also a drop down menu if you want to see similar styles of dressing.

2. Identification of skin diseases

Google Lens gets an additional function that allows you to take a picture of your skin and try to recognize your skin condition. Thus, there is no need to take and post photos on medical forums to identify the condition. According to Google, this new Google Lens feature can also solve dermatological mysteries like “a bump on your lip, a line on your nail, or hair loss on your head.”

3. Google Maps

Although Immersive View for routes was announced at Google I/O 2023, it was initially available in San Francisco, New York, Los Angeles, London, and Tokyo. Now Google has announced that it will be available in four more cities – Amsterdam, Dublin, Florence and Venice, and will include more than 500 landmarks from around the world. In addition, later this month Google will also release Glanceable Directions, which will allow you to peek at the estimated time it will take you to travel to your destination without having to start navigation.
