Netflix down in these countries: This is how the Streaming Giant reacted

Netflix users experienced issues with the streaming platform on Sunday night. More than 11,000 users reported experiencing streaming issues on the platform, according to Downdetector, an online tool for reporting technical outages.

The outage primarily affected services in the US, but users in other countries such as the UK and India also reported problems. The timing of the outage was particularly unfortunate as it occurred during a planned live event for a reunion of the popular ‘Love is Blind’ series.

The streaming giant acknowledged the problem and promised to fix the issue.

Netflix took to microblogging platform Twitter and wrote: “To everyone who stayed up late, woke up early, gave up their Sunday afternoon… We are very sorry that the Love is Blind Live Reunion did not go as planned. We are filming it now and will get it on Netflix as soon as humanly possible possible. Once again, thank you and sorry.”

In related news,  Netflix recently announced that it will be bringing 40 more games later this year, with 70 games in development with its partners as well. The company also has 16 games currently being developed by its own game studios. Netflix released the games in November 2021, and since then 55 games have been released.

“It’s been just over a year since we launched games on Netflix to offer our members even more entertainment as part of their Netflix subscription. In that short time, we’ve released 55 games, with around 40 slated for release later this year and 70 in development with our partners,” the streaming giant wrote in a blog post.

Netflix also said members will find indie darlings, award-winning hits, role-playing games, narrative adventures, puzzle games and more. In January of this year, the beginning released “Valiant Hearts: Coming Home,” the first of three Ubisoft exclusive games on Netflix.
