US Regulators Probe Tesla for Steering Issues in Model 3 and Model Y Vehicles

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is currently conducting an investigation into Tesla after receiving twelve reports regarding steering problems in the 2023 model year Model 3 and Model Y vehicles. In response to drivers’ complaints of either being unable to steer their vehicles or experiencing a loss of power steering, the agency has initiated a preliminary evaluation (PE). “Five reports indicate an inability to control the vehicle.
