Razer Blade 14 Laptop Updated with Ryzen 9 and RTX 4070 Processors for Enhanced Performance

Razer has unveiled an updated version of its highly sought-after Blade 14 gaming laptop series, boasting impressive specifications that surpass expectations. The processor that would power the latest Razer Blade had been a topic of speculation, but it has now been confirmed that it will feature AMD’s Ryzen 9 7940HS, which boasts eight cores, 16 threads, and a 24MB cache. The entry-level model comes with the Nvidia GeForce RTX 4060 GPU, but it can be upgraded to the RTX 4070.

That’s a lot of power for modern gaming applications. The laptop comes with at least 16 GB of DDR5 RAM, which can be upgraded to 32 GB. Each model comes standard with 1 TB of PCIe Gen 4 storage. The previous generation was already powerful enough, so these upgrades should really make this a high-end gaming laptop.

As the name suggests, the Razer Blade 14 features a 14-inch QHD display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 240Hz refresh rate. This is a slim 0.7-inch portable laptop that weighs only four pounds, making it an easily portable option for gamers on the go. Other features include a pair of USB-C ports, two USB-A ports, and a 1080p webcam with a built-in privacy shutter. The 68.1 Wh battery lasts for around ten hours on a single charge and includes a battery health optimization feature and quick charge features.

So what’s the downside? This is not a budget friendly laptop series. The base RTX 4060 model starts at $2,400 and the RTX 4070 version starts at $2,700. It’s available in both black and white, and orders start shipping today. The company is giving away a free Chroma Joyplot Razer Skin worth $60 to attract new customers.
