Steam Summer Sale Offers Discount of up to $130 on Steam Deck

The Steam Summer Sale is currently underway, offering a tempting offer for those who have been hesitant to purchase a Steam Deck. In addition to a vast selection of games, the device itself is available at a discounted price until July 13th. The 64GB model has been reduced by 10 percent, now priced at $359.10, while the version with 256GB of faster NVMe storage is now $449.65, a 15 percent discount from the original price. Furthermore, the 512GB variant, which features an anti-glare screen, is now 20 percent off, priced at $519.20. Additionally, the Steam Deck Dock is also on sale, with a 20 percent reduction, bringing the price down to $71.20.

This is one of Steam’s two biggest sales of the year, along with the Winter Edition, so there are deals galore. Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, one of the biggest games of the year so far, is already on sale for 25 percent off ($52.49). Elden Ring is 30 percent off $42, while Red Dead Redemption 2 is down two-thirds to $19.79. Cyberpunk 2077, No Man’s Sky, Halo Infinite’s single-player campaign, and Forza Horizon 5 are all half off for $30. Instead of buying Dying Light 2 for that price, note that there is a $27.88 bundle that includes Payday 2.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II is down 45 percent to $38.49, and Amazon’s MMORPG New World is down 60 percent to $16. Persona 5 Royal is down 40 percent to $36, while Cities Skylines is currently $9, which is 70 percent less than usual.

Sleeper hit Dredge is 20 percent off for $20, and you can save 30 percent on the Dead Space remake, which is $42. Civilization VI is a whopping 90% off for $6, while you can pick up all three mainline Witcher games for under $17 and Stray for $22.49 (25% off).

Halo: Master Chief Collection is 75 percent off $10. Several PlayStation Studios titles are also on sale, including Uncharted: A Legacy of Thieves Collection and God of War ($30 each, 40 percent off) and Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone ($16.49 each, 67 percent off). Both Spider-Man games are 33 percent off, with the original dropping to $40.19 and Miles Morales down to $33.49.

As always, we are barely scratching the surface of mammoth sales. There are hidden gems everywhere. For example, I had never heard of Not For Broadcast before the offer list, but I was curious enough to see it. Herein lies the pitfall of Steam sales. There are always many convincing offers that threaten to leave your wallet significantly lighter. But hey, you need things to play with your new Steam Deck.
