Tencent Launches AI Chatbot and UIDAI Unveils AI Aadhaar Innovations: 5 Things You May Have Missed

Morgan Stanley has revealed its plans to create an AI chatbot for its affluent customers, while Google Cloud has partnered with CERT-In to organize cybersecurity AI hackathons for government officials. 1. Morgan Stanley launches AI chatbot

The American financial services company Morgan Stanley announced that it is developing a generative artificial intelligence chatbot in cooperation with OpenAI, the creator of ChatGPT. According to a Reuters report, the AI chatbot has been in testing with more than 1,000 financial advisors in recent months. The chatbot provides a summary of the conversation with the customer, drafts follow-up emails and helps with other tasks.

2. Google Cloud organizes cybersecurity artificial intelligence hackathons for training government officials

Google Cloud announced on Thursday that it is partnering with India’s Computer Emergency Response Team (CERT-In) to train 1,000 government officials in cybersecurity skills. According to a PTI report, practices include the use of generative AI as well as AI hackathons. Google Cloud is also offering Cyber Security Certificate Scholarships of up to 1 lakh for students. CERT-In CEO Sanjay Bahl said, “Cybersecurity is the cornerstone of our digital future and harnessing the power of generative AI will help us stay ahead in this ever-evolving environment.”

3. Aadhaar innovations powered by artificial intelligence were unveiled at the Global Fintech Festival 2023

India’s Unique Identification Authority unveiled AI-powered Aadhaar innovations at the ongoing Global Fintech Festival 2023 in Mumbai. Under the theme ‘Reimagine Aadhaar’, UIDAI introduced an enhanced facial recognition feature using AI and ML technologies developed in-house, ANI reported. UIDAI also announced plans to set up an innovation lab at the UIDAI Tech Center.

4. Tencent Unveils Hunyuan AI Model

Tencent Holdings unveiled its latest major language AI model on Thursday. According to a Reuters report, the AI model, called Hunyuan, has become the basis for more than 50 Tencent products and services, the company said. It is trained with over 2 trillion tokens and up to 100 billion parameters and can converse in both Chinese and English. Tencent said its latest AI model outperforms OpenAI’s ChatGPT in several areas.

5. AI will reach the $154.8 billion cybersecurity industry by 2032

Artificial intelligence is a rapidly evolving and popular technology today, and its presence in the cybersecurity industry is expected to grow exponentially, according to a report published by Allied Market Research. While the AI in cybersecurity market generated $19.2 billion last year, it is expected to grow at a CAGR of 23.6% from 2023 to 2032, growing to a whopping $154.8 billion.
