Unboxing and Initial Look at the Oppo Find N3: Is It the New Flip Phone King?

Oppo has this week launched a third-generation flip device called the Find N3 Flip in India, competing in the market with the likes of the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5. Oppo has been growing in the foldable segment over the years and the brand decided to take it slow by launching polished versions.

The Oppo Find N3 Flip aims to raise the existing brands in the segment and improve its own proposition by updating the cameras and tweaking the design. The Oppo Find N3 Flip has launched at Rs 94,999 for buyers in India, but some bank offers are bringing down the final price by around Rs 10,000.

But back to the Oppo Find N3 Flip, being a premium product alone doesn’t give Oppo permission to focus on price leveraging features. That being said, bringing triple cameras to foldable devices means something.

Oppo’s new Find N3 Flip gets a 6.8-inch screen when opened, while the cover now features a 3.2-inch AMOLED screen. The Oppo uses the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset with 12GB of RAM and buyers in India can only opt for the 256GB storage option. It seems that Oppo’s biggest focus was to undercut the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5, and they’ve managed to do that with the details shared by the company.

Now let’s talk about the cameras. Oppo has used its Hasselblad affiliation to offer not one, not two, but three versatile cameras. You have a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 32-megapixel telephoto sensor and a 48-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. The Oppo flip phone has a 4,300mAh battery and offers 44W charging out of the box. Oppo offers a ColorOS version that has its quirks and yes, it still has bloatware.
