Amazon Prime members eligible for pre-approval on Boost Infinite plans

Amazon has partnered with Boost Infinite, a wireless carrier owned by Dish Wireless, to create a storefront that offers easier access to Boost Infinite’s SIM kits. While Amazon already sells SIM cards from various providers, this collaboration specifically benefits Prime members by automatically qualifying them for Boost Infinite’s $25-per-month postpaid wireless plan. Subscribers can purchase Boost Infinite’s Unlimited $25 SIM kit from the Amazon store at a discounted price of 20 percent. Additionally, if they activate their SIM within 30 days of receiving it, they will receive a $25 bill credit towards their first month of service.

Dish first introduced Boost Infinite in mid-2022 with a plan that offers “unlimited data, talk and text.” The plan also offers users 5G internet access that uses AT&T, T-Mobile and Dish’s own network, though it’s capped after the first 30GB of the month. Subscribers can also add up to five lines per account. Boost Infinite promises wireless service without surprises or even planned price increases. According to it, members can expect to pay $25 per month as long as they are active.

Customers who purchase a SIM package from Amazon do not need to walk into a store to activate their account. They simply need to complete their registration through the carrier’s app, which then connects them to a customer support representative — a “real person,” the company emphasizes — to help them with setup and activation. Please note that new subscribers can bring their (unlocked) phone or get a new one from Boost Infinite, and they can keep or change their number. Boost Infinite’s network is compatible with both unlocked iPhones and Android devices, and also has eSIM support for Apple mobile phones.

Steve Downer, Amazon’s head of consumer electronics, said:

“Amazon has always strived to provide customers with convenience, value and choice. Part of this is making it easier for customers to access wireless plans that are compatible with multiple devices and can be set up from home. The Boost Infinite Unlimited SIM card bundle offers Prime members an exclusive contract with affordable postpaid of using wireless service on one of the best networks in the US at an affordable price.”
