Apple iPhone 12 users facing another screen issue; heres what happened

Not everyone seems happy with their iPhone 12 models. After experiencing issues with an unresponsive touchscreen and issues, iMessage, and a multi-port charging bug, the new series now has “issues. display which include flicker and green or gray glow. This was revealed in an internal document recently obtained by MacRumors. In the document, Apple acknowledged an issue with some iPhone 12 displays with such issues. Apple said it is aware of the issues and is investigating them.

For now, Apple has told technicians to avoid repairing affected iPhones and to advise them that they should keep their iPhones up to date with the latest version. It also leads us to believe that Apple might fix this issue with an iOS update. It also means it’s not a hardware issue.

If you recall, a similar green tint display issue was noticed in iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max smartphones previously. And Apple solved it with iOS 13.6.1. However, this time the problem is with all four models.

According to consumers who have discussed it on MacRumors forums and Apple support communities, this appears when the screen brightness is set to 90% or less. Many of them also use iOS 14.1, iOS 14.2 and 14.3 Betas. In addition, the flicker and light are not constant and disappear after a while.

That said, Apple iPhone 11 has become the best-selling smartphone in the United States for four consecutive months according to Counterpoint. Counterpoint senior analyst Hanish Bhatia said the iPhone 11 was “almost continuously promoted, often sold for $ 0 or $ 5 with qualifying exchanges in postpaid channels.”
