Good news for Apple fans in India, the Cupertino-based tech giant on Tuesday announced that it will open its doors to customers at two new retail outlets in the country – Apple BKC in Mumbai on April 18 and Apple Saket in Delhi in April. 20.

Apple BKC will open on Tuesday, April 18 at 11 AM IST and Apple Sake will open for customers on April 20 at 10 AM IST. Unveiled this morning, Apple Saket’s barricade features a unique design inspired by Delhi’s many gates, each marking a new chapter in the city’s storied past.

“The colorful artwork celebrates Apple’s second store in India, located right in the country’s capital,” the company said in a statement. According to the company, these new retail locations offer new ways to browse, find and buy Apple products with exceptional service and experiences for customers.

Ahead of the opening day, customers are asked to download custom Apple BKC and Apple Saket wallpapers and specially curated playlists from Apple Music to immerse themselves in the sounds of Mumbai and Delhi.

Starting April 20, customers can visit Apple’s latest product lineup, find creative inspiration and receive personalized service and support from the store’s team of experts, creatives and geniuses, the iPhone maker said.

To celebrate the opening of the first Apple Store in India, Apple BKC announced a special Today at Apple series – ‘Mumbai Rising’ – which will run from the opening day until summer.

These sessions bring together visitors, local artists and creatives to provide hands-on activities for Apple products and services that celebrate Mumbai’s local community and culture.

The Apple BKC store is inspired by the iconic Kaali Peel taxi art unique to Mumbai. The ad features colorful interpretations of the labels combined with the many Apple products and services available to visitors.

In the store’s creative product, passers-by are brightly welcomed with the classic Apple greeting “Hello Mumbai”.
