EU Condemns Elon Musk for Promoting Misinformation Following Hamas Attack
In a letter obtained by AFP, EU commissioner Thierry Breton cautioned Elon Musk on Tuesday about his platform “X”, previously known as Twitter, for its dissemination of “unlawful content and misinformation”.
The letter said concerns were heightened after the Hamas attack on Israel, and called on Musk to respond to the complaint and contact “appropriate law enforcement authorities” within 24 hours.
