Honor 90 5G First Impressions

Let’s start with color options and design. The Honor 90 5G is available in three colors, we have the emerald green variant. The smartphone has a stylish and premium design, and its back is glossy glass. The stylish design can impress young buyers. The general appearance is quite good.

Weighing only 183 grams, the Honor 90 5G is a light and easy-to-use smartphone. In addition, there are no fingerprints on the back surface. Overall, I’m impressed with the design. The device has square edges. On the right side houses the power button and volume controls. At the bottom, there is a Type-C USB port, a speaker grille, a microphone and a dual SIM card slot.

The Honor 90 5G has a 6.7-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. The display features 3840 HZ PWM dimming technology to help prevent eye strain. The colors will be bright on the screen. Even in low light, the brightness of the Honor 90 5G is really impressive. The screen offers smooth scrolling and a decent viewing experience. So far I have no complaints about the display.

The Honor 90 5G sports a triple rear camera setup, including a 200-megapixel primary camera, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel macro lens. For video calls and selfies, the device has a 50 megapixel front camera. The device has some impressive built-in camera features. I had a chance to touch a few of them and I think the portrait and night mode are impressive. Even in artificial lighting conditions, a selfie taken in portrait mode looked sharp and clear.

Now let’s talk about some specifications, Honor 90 5G is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset. The device has Android 13-based Magic OS 7.1, the operating system is clean and user-friendly. The Honor 90 5G is packed with a large 5000mAh battery that also has 66W fast charging support. The handset can last more than a day in normal use.

On the downside, it’s worth noting that the Honor 90 5G lacks an IP rating for water and dust resistance, and it also doesn’t come with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. Overall, the device looks promising and we will be sharing an in-depth review of the Honor 90 5G soon.
