If you’re a PlayStation Plus Essential subscriber, you’ll be happy to hear that Sony has announced the games coming to the service in January. To redeem these games you must be an active subscriber. Once you have redeemed them, they are yours to keep forever – as long as you remain a subscriber to the service.

That being said, this month brings with it a variety of games that are available to players. The following games coming to PS Plus Essential will be available from January 2nd to February 6th, 2024.

Free games are coming to PS Plus in January

– A Plague Tale: Requiem – PS5

– Evil West – PS4, PS5

– Nobody Saves the World – PS4, PS5

If you haven’t claimed your free games since December, now is the time to do so

If you missed out on claiming December’s PS Plus Essential games, which include Lego 2K, Drive, Powerwash Simulator and Sable, now’s your last chance to claim it until January 1, 2024. After this, you will not be able to redeem these titles and them to your library.

January’s line-up looks pretty good, especially considering it’s starring A Plague Tale: Requiem, the spin-off to the acclaimed A Plague Tale: Innocence. The game follows Amicia and Hugo as they travel far south to escape their homeland.

Earlier this month, PlayStation Deluxe and Extra subscribers received games like Grand Theft Auto V and Metal: Hellsinger as part of new additions to the PS Plus catalog. This tier costs more than the essential tier, but comes with a bunch of extra features.
