iPhone Users Can Now Enjoy Quick and Secure Login with X’s ‘Passkeys’ Support

Elon Musk-run X has added support for “passwords” as a login option for iOS users in the US.

“Today, we’re excited to launch Passkeys as a sign-in option for our US iOS users,” the company announced at X on Tuesday.

“Password is a new, easy-to-use and secure way to log into your account – all from your device. Passwords are more secure than traditional passwords because your device generates them separately for each account,” it added.

According to the company, passwords provide a stronger level of protection for your account because they are uniquely created for your device and are less vulnerable to security threats such as fraudulent, fraudulent or unauthorized attacks.

In addition, the microblogging platform also stated that “your password will never be shared with X to ensure maximum security and further reduce the likelihood of unauthorized account access.”

Meanwhile, the X is introducing a feature that lets you make voice and video calls directly from within the app for Android users. According to a post made by an X engineer working on the project, Android users will be able to use the feature after updating the app.

“Voice and video calling on X is slowly coming to Android users today! update your app and call your mom,” X engineer Enrique wrote on Friday.

However, this feature is only available to premium users.
