Redmi Note 12 4G smartphone confirmed for March 30 launch in India: What to expect
Smartphone brand Redmi has confirmed to launch its flagship Notes phone in India this month. According to the company, the upcoming Redmi Note 12 4G will be launched in the country on March 30. This is the latest addition to the Note 12 series. The series currently includes Note 12 5G, Note 12 Pro 5G and Note 12 Pro Plus 5G.
The brand recently took to the microblogging platform to announce the release date of the upcoming device. “Super chic. Super Stylish. Super stylish. Introducing #SuperNoteSuperDesign, #RedmiNote12. The company has also teased a new color option for the Redmi Note 12 4G. “Here’s a sneak peek of the #RedmiNote12 with a very special livery that’s sure to turn heads! We’re releasing this on March 30th as part of our #XiaomiFanFestival #XiaomiFans event,” Sandeep Sarma, head of design and content at Xiaomi India, tweeted.

The upcoming Redmi Note 12 smartphone is expected to have a multi-color option with shades of blue, pink and gold. The design of the camera module is the same gold color that the company teased earlier. According to the Redmi Note 12 4G microsite on Xiaomi’s website, the upcoming phone will feature a 6.67-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display.
On the back, you can expect the Redmi Note 12 4G to have three cameras: a 50-megapixel main camera, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2-megapixel camera. For selfies, the device is likely to have a 13-megapixel camera on the front.
The Redmi Note 12 4G could be powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 685 processor paired with up to 11GB of internal RAM and virtual RAM. The smartphone is expected to be backed by a massive 5000mAh battery that supports 33W fast wired charging.
