How To Access Google Slides’ Newly Added AI-powered Image Generation Feature

Google has recently launched a new feature in Google Slides named ‘Help Me Visualise’ that enables users to generate images. The technology company unveiled the AI-powered feature at the Google I/O 2023 event, stating that it will aid users in creating backgrounds and images for their Google Slides presentation assignments.

To use this feature, Slides now displays a new Help Me Visualize side panel where users can type a prompt.

The Google Workspace Labs support page notes that the “Help me visualize” prompt in Google Slides is being “gradually rolled out,” so it may not be available to all users right away, and the feature is currently only available to desktop users. .

After typing the prompt, users can choose from six different rendering styles: photography, clip art, background, flat layout, and illustration.

To use the AI-powered features of Google Workspace, users must register with Google Workspace Labs and agree to the terms of use. You can register for the feature here.

Additionally, in Gmail, as 9to5Google discovered – Help Me Write gets contextual response suggestions and checks your previous conversations. Paying attention to details becomes even better by adding precise information, such as the person’s name and date/time.

In Google Docs, Google now automatically adds Smart Slides images and other information that remind users to include basic information such as company name, tag, etc., for example a job application.
