Adobe Introduces Firefly AI Models to Creative Suite, Launches Web App: Get the Details Here

Adobe has joined other tech giants to release its own generative AI model called Firefly. Integrated with Adobe Creative Cloud, this template allows users to create images, extend backgrounds, ideate storyboards, and perform many other AI-powered features in Adobe’s Creative Cloud applications.

This full release follows Firefly’s beta phase over the last few months and is now available on Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Experience Cloud and Adobe Express.

To use some of Firefly’s features, users can also visit Firefly’s web app and take advantage of its creative AI features. Adobe also says Firefly is “safe for commercial use” and users can “use everyday language to achieve extraordinary results with generative AI.”

Adobe is also introducing a new credit-based model for its Creative Cloud plans. Adobe states: “To enable widespread access and adoption of creative AI workflows, we are introducing a new credit-based model across all Creative Cloud subscription plans.”

It added: “Starting today, Creative Cloud, Firefly and Express paid plans include monthly ‘fast’ generative credits, similar to tokens, that allow Adobe subscribers to turn text-based prompts into images and vector content that can be used across Adobe’s suite of apps.”

Getting started with Firefly

Users must update all their Adobe Creative Cloud applications to start using Firefly and its creative AI features. Later, they can use AI-enabled features in Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, and After Effects. In addition, users can use the standalone Adobe Firefly application to create AI-powered content.

In particular, popular Adobe features such as Generative Fill and Generative Expansion in Photoshop are powered by the Firefly AI model, and Firefly allows users to send text prompts in over 100 languages, and any content they create with Firefly can be used for commercial purposes. .
