Apple iPhone 15 Series Prices Set To Increase; Average Cost Projected To Reach Rs 76,000
According to a recent leak, the forthcoming iPhone 15 models are anticipated to be pricier than the current iPhone 14 models, as the launch of the Apple iPhone 15 is projected to take place later this year.
According to Wedbush analyst Dan Ives, the average selling price for the iPhone 15 series is $925 (roughly Rs. 76,258.39). Currently, the price of the new iPhone 14 starts at $799 (roughly Rs. 65,877.95) in the US.
The analyst is not the first to predict that Apple may increase the pricing of the iPhone 15 series. The iPhone manufacturer has not officially announced any details about the release or pricing of the iPhone 15 series.
Ives also told CNBC that about 250 million iPhone models haven’t been updated in the past four years, and that the arrival of the iPhone 15 lineup could spark new purchases and boost Apple’s sales.
The analyst also believes that Apple’s services such as Apple TV+, App Store, iCloud and Apple Music will grow significantly and reach the $100 billion milestone. He suggests that the new Apple Vision Pro will contribute to improving the company’s Internet-centric services.
Meanwhile, according to the Weibo post, it is expected that the standard iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will be equipped with a frosted back glass, like the current Pro models. The leak came from the same account that confirmed that the iPhone 14 models will be released in yellow.
With frosted glass, the iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus look more similar to the Pro models. However, only the iPhone 15 Pro models are rumored to get a new titanium frame and thinner bezels around the display, while the standard models are still expected to have an aluminum body and the same bezel size, MacRumors said.
Apple’s iPhone 15 and 15 Pro models are also expected to come in unique colors. According to MacRumors, Apple is working on the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models in dark red, which is close to a burgundy shade.
