After Apple and Spotify, Google-owned YouTube Music has released its 2023 summary for users. According to the platform, music fans can jump to their 2023 summary page in the YouTube Music app and scroll through to see their personal stats (top artists, songs, moods, genres, albums, playlists, and more) for the year.

“We’re also excited to announce that we’ve brought this full experience to the YouTube app, where you’ll see a separate summary page with the same stats and insights available on YouTube Music. In addition to bringing this experience to the YouTube app, we’ve also released several new features to help you relive the year out loud,” the company wrote in a blog post.

How to Check YouTube Music Summary 2023

– Open the YouTube Music app on your mobile device.

– Make sure you are logged into your account.

– Tap on your profile picture and select ‘Your Story’.

– YouTube Music shows your top five artists, songs, moods, genres, albums and playlists.

– The review contains information about your longest listening period and the total number of minutes listened in 2023.

– You can find the Kertaus page among the playlists, along with the top statistics presented in the stories.

– You can access stories by selecting Watch now, which allows you to download or share stories.

YouTube is also extending this feature to the YouTube app, where users will find a separate summary page that presents the same statistics and insights as in YouTube Music.

In addition, YouTube Music now creates custom artwork by extracting a collection of colors, moods and visuals from this year’s best songs, energy points and high moods from this year and combining them to create album artwork. “If you were an album, this would be the cover,” YouTube said.

Another feature is mood matching, where YouTube Music categorizes the best songs using mood-related terms like fun, chill, and love.
