G20 India Summit: All-in-One ‘App-t’ Platform for New Delhi Event

The government has launched the much-anticipated G20 India Mobile App, a comprehensive digital platform that will provide users with an immersive and informative experience for the upcoming G20 Summit in New Delhi. The app has several features that make the G20 Summit accessible to a global audience and enhance the experience of participants and foreign delegates.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ application is available for both Android and iPhone users in their app stores. In a press conference, officials told ReturnByte that till Tuesday 15,000 users had downloaded the app, but it is very possible that the number has now gone up to 25,000. This application will run until the end of India’s G20 chairmanship.

One of the standout features of the G20 India Mobile App is its multilingual support. Users can find the five official languages of the United Nations – English, Hindi, German, Japanese and Portuguese – ensuring inclusion and accessibility to a diverse international audience.

LOGO, THEME AND host cities

The app provides a wealth of information about the G20 summit and India’s presidency, including information about the summit’s logo, theme and host cities. Users can also access pages dedicated to each G20 leader and their official websites, allowing for a deeper understanding of their policies and initiatives.

For those interested in G20 work, the app provides detailed information about the various work streams and engagement groups participating in the summit. This feature allows users to explore specific areas of focus and engagement within the G20 framework. It provides insights from the G20 Secretariat and provides contact points for working groups, facilitating seamless communication and coordination between stakeholders.

VIRTUAL TOURS, NEW

Users can stay updated with the G20 India event calendar and access virtual tours through the app. The navigation option will help the foreign delegates to select the starting and ending points which will help them find their route to a particular destination inside the Bharat Mandapam. In addition, the app includes an Explore India option, which is useful to know about India’s diverse culture, architecture and achievements.

The app’s comprehensive media and resources section offers press releases, official documents, speeches, representative experiences, photos, videos and more. Users can stay connected with the G20 India story through this feature.

The What’s New section keeps users up to date with the latest updates and developments related to the G20 Summit. Likewise, the ‘Jan Bhagidari’ feature encourages audience engagement and participation in the G20 process. The application provides a user-friendly registration and accreditation system that ensures a smooth experience for attendees and participants.

However, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while interacting with the Council of Ministers meeting, has asked all the ministers to download the mobile app before the G20 summit. He said the G20 app would help ministers interact seamlessly with foreign representatives.
