G20 Leaders to be Greeted by AI-Created Avatar at ‘Mother of Democracy’ Exhibit

According to official sources, an artificial intelligence-powered ‘avatar’ will welcome the Heads of State and other prominent leaders at the ‘Mother of Democracy’ exhibition held at the Bharat Mandapam during the G20 Summit.

The exhibition showcases India’s democratic traditions “from Vedic times to modern times,” they said.

They added that the text content and its audio will be presented in “16 global languages”, including English, French Mandarin, Italian, Korean and Japanese.

The history of India’s democratic ethos will be “condensed and retold through 26 interactive displays” arranged in several kiosks, sources said.

“When they arrive at the exhibition grounds, heads of state, delegates and other guests will be greeted by an AI-generated ‘avatar’ who will give them a brief overview of the exhibition,” the source said.

A replica of a Harappan girl placed on a revolving raised podium stands in the center of the hall in the exhibition area.

The actual height of the object is 10.5 cm, but the replica was created 5 feet tall and 120 kg in bronze, the source said.

According to sources, India’s election traditions are presented right up to the present day, when the first parliamentary elections were held after independence in 1951-52 up to the 2019 Lok Sabha elections.
