With the increase in dog attacks, the Noida authority introduced a new pet policy that makes it mandatory for pet dog owners to register their pets.

The authority has asked all owners to complete this registration. Pet owners have to register through the Noida Authority Pet Registration Application (NAPR), which is available for both iOS and Android.

To register your pet online, owners need to download the Noida Authority Pet Registration Application. iPhone users can download the app from App Store and Android users can get this app from Google Play Store. When you install the app, registration is mandatory by entering your mobile number and name and the OTP you will receive after setting your phone number.

Once logged in, select the ‘new registration’ option available on the home screen of the app. A detailed pet registration application form will appear. Enter all the necessary information about your pet, including its name, age, breed, sex, vaccination date and upload the necessary documents and photos.

After filling out the application form, go to the payment option. Please take the time to review all the terms and conditions and then click I agree. Submit the payment for registration and keep a screenshot of the payment for your records. The annual registration fee per pet in Noida is Rs 500 which is payable in April of each year.

The new pet policy requires all pets to be vaccinated against rabies. In addition, sterilization of all pet dogs is required. Failure to do so will result in a monthly fine of 2,000 rubles.

In addition, the new pet policy stipulates that if a pet attacks or bites a person, the pet owner is liable to pay the victim a compensation of R10,000. The owner of the animal is also responsible for the additional costs related to the treatment of the victim.
