OnePlus Apologizes For Free Wireless Charger Mishap, Offers Rs 800 Discount To Customers
Bad news for people who recently ordered the OnePlus 30W Wireless Charger which was priced at Rs 0 on the website. The company has decided to cancel these orders. However, they are offering a new coupon that offers Rs 800 off on accessory purchases of Rs 1500 or more. This voucher will be credited directly to your account.
“Unfortunately, we have to inform you that your OnePlus 30W Wireless Charger order is canceled due to incorrect pricing. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused. To show our apologies, we are giving another ₹800 off when you purchase accessories worth ₹1,500 or more. This voucher will be credited directly to your account,” OnePlus India said.
“If you have any further questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our customer service. They will be happy to help you,” the Chinese smartphone maker said.
The smartphone brand surprised everyone last week with a special sale that offered a wireless charger, phone cases or other accessories for free in India. They were listed on the OnePlus website for Rs 0 last week.
The company didn’t promote the sale offer, but few people were lucky enough to spot the free offer and get themselves a free wireless charger from OnePlus, while some were able to buy OnePlus phone cases for free.
The OnePlus Warp Charge 30W Wireless Charger is originally priced at Rs 3,990 and is available in white only. Warp Charge 30 is also compatible with non-OnePlus phones, but you can only charge it at 10W.
Meanwhile, the OnePlus Open foldable phone will be released on the 19th. October in India, and the company has been teasing the phone’s features, design and unique features on social media for the past few days.
