Potential Delay of Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max Launch: Reasons Explained

Apple is preparing to launch the new iPhone 15 series, which should happen next month, but the company already has concerns. According to reports, the iPhone 15 Pro Max (or Ultra) version will not hit the shelves until October, which is about 3 weeks behind the expected release of the device.

It has been mentioned that Apple plans to use a new camera sensor for the Pro Max version, which will be supplied by Sony, but the unit is unlikely to meet the actual production schedule, which will invariably postpone the availability of the iPhone 15 Pro Max. model on the market.

9to5Mac’s report cited an analyst with in-depth knowledge of production and Apple suppliers as having trouble putting the puzzle in place ahead of Apple’s big launch event.

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is getting one of the biggest camera upgrades in years, and Apple may have to take its time getting the product to market. Some might say a month’s delay isn’t a big deal, but with a company putting all its eggs in the premium basket, the need to get the Pro Max version to market quickly is obvious. The premium version of the new iPhone 15 should use the new A17 bionic chip paired with up to 8GB of RAM.

Apple has been reported to use Sony’s periscope lens on the Pro Max, but the update has yet to be confirmed. Reports also claim that Apple will offer color-matched braided charging cables for iPhones this year.

Apple’s strategy of raising iPhone prices in recent years has drawn criticism, but the company appears to be enjoying a larger share of revenue due to the change, which will always please the brand and its shareholders. The iPhone 15 Pro Max could cost around $1,099 for the base model, $1,299 or even $1,499 for the models with more storage, and people would hope that the upgrades make it worth it.
