PUBG Mobile was among the second wave of China-related apps that were banned in India due to security concerns. PUBG Mobile and PUBG Mobile Lite still worked for users who had the games installed on their phones. At the end of October, PUBG Mobile shut down its servers in India. Just two weeks later, the company announced that it would launch PUBG Mobile India .

PUBG Mobile India launch date
PUBG Corp. has yet to announce the launch date for PUBG Mobile India. He has so far established the official PUBG Mobile India website, Facebook page and YouTube channel. It has also released teaser videos featuring PUBG Mobile Dynamo players, Kronten and Jonathan. But its gameplay and features have yet to be revealed.
PUBG Mobile India-centric features
PUBG Mobile India will offer personalized features for players in the country. The game will take place in a virtual simulation training ground and new characters will be dressed. It will also have green success effects which the company says reflects the virtual nature of gaming. PUBG Mobile India will also promote healthy gaming habits for young gamers. PUBG Mobile has been criticized for promoting violence, especially among young people in India.
India Exclusive Esports Events
PUBG Corporation and its parent company KRAFTON have announced that they will invest $ 100 million in India to promote local industries of video games, esports, entertainment and information technology. The company is also planning to host eSports events exclusive to India and promises “the biggest tournaments, the biggest prize pools and the best tournament productions”.
PUBG Mobile India registrations
PUBG Mobile India pre-registrations have been posted on the TapTap game sharing community. The game has amassed around 200,000 pre-registrations, according to a News18 report. PUBG Mobile India has managed to come across the pre-registrations of another expected FAU-G game which is said to be its alternative. Official registrations for the game PUBG Mobile India have not yet been uploaded.
Government green light
PUBG Corporation has kicked off the launch of PUBG Mobile India, but it appears the company has yet to receive the green light from the government. According to a TOI report, the government “remains firm in its decision to ban the gambling application due to concerns expressed”. PUBG Corp is no longer tied to Tencent Games for the Indian version of the game. The original PUBG Mobile game remains banned in India, but there is no official word on the new version.
