Record-Breaking Spending on OnlyFans in 2022 Reaches $5.6 Billion

Subscription revenue for OnlyFans has seen a significant surge, as the platform has witnessed substantial growth in both adult content creators and app users. Keily Blair, formerly the chief strategy and operations officer, has now taken over as the CEO, replacing Amrapali Gan. This leadership change could potentially influence the company’s future plans and policies regarding the app. Despite this, OnlyFans continues to generate substantial revenue, as indicated by its earning reports.

Fenix International, the British parent company of OnlyFans, published its financial report, which shows that the company is making more profit than expected with its subscription model. The published report covers the fiscal year ending November 30, 2022. The subscription version shows that users spent more than $5.55 billion on content provided by adult content providers. This also revealed that the company has made 16% more revenue compared to the previous year.

Variety reports that the platform for adult content generated a total profit of $525 million. Leonid Radvinsky, the owner of OnlyFans, received 338 million dollars in dividends for the fiscal year 2022, which is a huge amount. In addition to the owners, the creators also benefited from the profits, as their income increased by 47%. Now the number of authors registered on the platform has grown to 3.18 million and 238.8 million users in the same year.

The report states: “The group expects that its commitment to ‘putting creators first’ and providing the most secure social media platform will provide a strong foundation for continued revenue growth, profitability and brand awareness in the years to come.”

Since the pandemic, the platform has attracted many users and has also provided creators with an opportunity to make money in difficult economic times. However, with the platform’s popularity, total revenues are experiencing a spike. With its subscription model, it has allowed creators to earn more in different ways, such as through paid direct messages.
