Sony has released the Alpha 7R V as the latest addition to its range of mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras. The Alpha 7R V features a 61-megapixel back-illuminated Exmor R CMOS 35mm full-frame image sensor with a dedicated AI processing unit for subject recognition and imaging. The Alpha 7R V also gets an 8-stop image stabilization system, a new 4-axis multi-angle display and support for lossless RAW image capture – making it ideal for professionals who need a high-resolution mirrorless camera.

Sony’s R line is known for its photography capabilities, and this A7RV features up to 10fps 7 AF/AE tracking speeds and enhanced connectivity to help professionals streamline their workflows with Wi-Fi (802.11ac). 2 × 2 MIMO 24 and SuperSpeed ​​USB 10 Gbps via the USB-C port – enable fast data transfer.

On the video front, the Alpha 7R V offers 8K 24/25p and 4K 50/60p movie recording, 4:2:2 10-bit All-I, and for recording those high-resolution files – you get two CFexpress Type A-compatible slot machines. It also has a new menu system with touch control and a bunch of customizable functions.

The Sony A7RV, a mirrorless hybrid camera, offers a wide sensitivity range of ISO100-32000 and 15-degree dynamic range for photos, and also features real-time detection focus with AI subject detection, Sony’s next-generation autofocus system. Other pro-grade features include image stabilization with up to 8-stop compensation effect and selectable RAW options, including lossless RAW for an efficient workflow.
