Instagram, a popular photo and video sharing service owned by Meta, allows users to schedule photos and reels. This feature allows creators to plan ahead by scheduling reels, photos, and carousel posts from within the Instagram app.

According to Instagram, scheduling posts can help you save time and stay organized when creating and scheduling your posts. This feature simplifies content management, allowing users to prepare and share their content more efficiently and strategically.

This is how you schedule posts and scrolls on Instagram

– Schedule your posts on Instagram by opening the app on your phone.

– Tap the + icon and select the photo or video you want to schedule.

– After selecting the media, scroll down to find the Advanced option.

– Tap it. You will see “Schedule Content” – select it.

– Next, select the “Schedule this message” option.

– Choose the time and date you want.

– Then tap on ‘Set time’.

– Finally, go back and tap the Schedule button.

– Now your post is scheduled for Instagram.

Note that only Instagram public accounts can schedule reels, photos, and posts. Users can also manage scheduled posts and reels on Instagram. There are two ways to manage scheduled content.

1. To manage scheduled content from your Instagram profile, follow these steps:

– Go to your Instagram profile.

– Tap in the upper right corner and then tap Scheduled Content.

– Tap the three dots next to the message or scroll you want to edit.

– Tap Schedule again, Share now or Delete.

2. Manage Timed Content from Creation – Open the Instagram app, tap “+” and tap Publish or Reel. Next, tap Scheduled to view the scheduled content. Now tap on the post or reel you want to edit. Finally, tap Schedule again, Share now, or Delete.

It’s also important to note that features such as Product Tags, Collaborative Posts, Cross-posting to Facebook, Sponsored Posts, and Fundraising are not currently compatible with Scheduled Content.
