The Poco F3 will be a renowned Redmi K40 for global markets

The Redmi K40 series debuted in China last week and since then there have been rumors about how one or more smartphones from this series could be marketed in the global market with the Poco brand. There was also previous attested certification, according to reports.

And the mystery of which device it could be has also been unraveled thanks to an American FCC certification. The Redmi K40 will be renamed Poco F3 for global markets. This leads to speculation that there could also be a Poco F3 Pro which could be the rebranded Redmi K40 Pro or the Redmi K40 Pro + – but there is no information on that yet.

The Poco F3, like the Redmi K40, will be powered by the Snapdragon 870 SoC and will come with 5G support. It should come with 6 GB to 12 GB of RAM and 128/256 GB of non-expandable storage.

The Poco F3 will come with a triple camera on the rear – a 48MP main shooter, 8MP ultra-wide, and 5MP macro camera. For selfies, there is a 20MP shooter on the front.

For power, there is a 4520mAh battery and 33W fast charging stand that can power the smartphone from 0% to 100% in less than an hour.

There will be a 6.67-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED display protected by Gorilla Glass 5. The Redmi K40 was running Android 11 with MIUI 12 on top, so depending on when the Poco F3 launches, the Poco F3 might run. the MIUI 12.5 at launch.
