Xiaomi 14 Pro Rumored to Feature Upgraded Camera and Display, Leaked Renders Suggest

Xiaomi’s next mainline flagship series, possibly called the Xiaomi 14, is expected to launch later this year with updated internals. According to reports, the series may include three models: Xiaomi 14, Xiaomi 14 Pro and Xiaomi 14 Ultra.

And now, 91mobiles and OnLeaks have recently shared the alleged images of the Xiaomi 14 Pro. These renders reveal a major design overhaul and the smartphones are expected to feature a redesigned camera module.

According to renders by 91mobiles and OnLeaks, the Xiaomi 14 Pro will have a flat screen, which differs from the curved panel of the current Xiaomi 13 Pro. The smartphone is also expected to be thicker. But the most noticeable change is the camera module, which looks significantly larger and more substantial compared to current models, possibly hinting at larger sensors.

The publication also mentions the phone’s dimensions at 161.6 x 75.3 x 8.7 mm, and it may feature a 6.6-inch flat screen with curved 2.5D glass and a punch-hole for the front camera. Another significant change could be the presence of four cameras and other sensors.

In particular, among all the changes, the increased size of the camera module seems to be the most significant. While there is no confirmation from Xiaomi and this information should be taken with a grain of salt, it is clear that Xiaomi is focusing heavily on its optics and hardware, which could be another step in this direction.
