Xiaomi Redmi Note 9 5G models could launch on November 26
Xiaomi has an event scheduled for November 26 where it will launch the Redmi Note 9 series in China. Based on the launch teaser, Xiaomi is expected to launch three smartphones.
Xiaomi’s launch announcement comes amid multiple rumors and leaks about two new Redmi Note 9 5G smartphones. Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G smartphones could debut at this event. The third smartphone could be a 4G smartphone. Xiaomi also shared an image showing the design of the phone. There is a circular camera setup on the rear with four sensors and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is also seen in the colors purple and light blue.
Xiaomi has not revealed any other details about the new smartphones. Based on the leaks and rumors so far, Redmi Note Redmi Note 9 5G will come with a 6.53-inch Full HD + display and MediaTek’s Dimensity 800U chipset. It would be available in three storage options of 4GB + 64GB, 6GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB. Redmi Note 9 5G is also expected to pack a 5,000mAh battery, 48-megapixel main camera, and a handheld device. 13 megapixel selfie photo.
On the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, we could see Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 750G processor paired with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The smartphone is expected to contain a 108-megapixel rear camera and a 16-megapixel front camera.
Redmi Note 9 5G and Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G are said to be one of the more affordable 5G smartphones. Xiaomi already sells the regular Redmi Note 9 models in India, and it is not yet clear if these phones (if they are launched) will make it here.
