Yoto Player now offers stereo sound and temperature monitoring capabilities

Yoto has introduced its newest audio playback gadget designed for children. The company claims that the third iteration of the Yoto Player boasts numerous enhancements and advancements. Among them is the ability to play music, audiobooks, and podcasts using acoustically engineered stereo audio.

The device has a battery that lasts three times as long as the previous model, Yoto claims. USB-C fast charging and a wireless charging option are also available. The third-generation Yoto Player has 32GB of storage, allowing users to store over 600 hours of content for offline use.

The pixel display, seven-color night light and WiFi connection have been updated. The device has a durable case that should help protect it from daily roughing and tumble, says Yoto. Yoto Player also has a built-in sleep timer and alarms.

Last but not least, Yoto has included a room thermometer this time. The company notes that parents can monitor temperatures from the Yoto app. They can receive notifications if their baby’s room becomes too hot or cold for comfort.

The third generation Yoto Player will be available on June 15. It costs $120.
