Amazon offered the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earbuds at a huge discount of Rs 2,899 during the Big India Festive Sale 2023. Priced at Rs 2,899, there is no doubt that the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro is a steal. However, the joy was short-lived for excited buyers.
Amazon has reportedly taken a strange decision to cancel the orders of customers who bought the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earbuds for Rs 2,899. Why? Amazon claims it’s a technical issue with pricing. Amazon had listed the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro at Rs 10,999 in its online sale recently, where people had the option to use SBI credit cards and get an additional discount of Rs 8,099, bringing the final price of the product below Rs 3,000.
It was not surprising that many of them jumped at the chance to buy the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro at such a price, but their happiness was obviously short-lived.
If you scroll through social media on this topic, you will find that many people were able to order the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro at Rs 2,899, which comes via the SBI credit card discount. They have shared posts with visuals to show that Amazon had actually offered a great deal on a premium product.
But the company decided to cancel the orders of the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro who managed to grab them at this price and were even notified of this decision via email, as you can see here.
Many people who got the Buds 2 Pro at a special price even shared their anguish at seeing their orders cancelled. Amazon even responded to one of these customers and explained to them the reason why the orders didn’t go through. The company assures that all canceled orders will be refunded in full within 3-5 business days, as explained in this message to customer X.
A few days after the product was listed again, Amazon changed its price to Rs 16,990 and still gave a discount of Rs 8,099 on SBI credit card, but now the final price is much higher at around Rs 8,000, which is nowhere near the discount that people would have got Galaxy Buds 2 Pro earphones for less than Rs 3,000.
