The Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) is the most popular exam for individuals aspiring to become teachers in the country. Conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), this nationwide test acts as a pathway for candidates seeking teaching positions in central government schools and schools under Union Territories’ administration.
According to the CBSE notification, the CTET 2023 admit cards will be uploaded two days before the exam, on August 20. The Central Board of Secondary Education will conduct the CTET August 2023 exam on Sunday 20th August 2023. Candidates have already received the Advance Cards indicating their allotted exam cities on the official website ctet.nic.in. Later, official CTET admit cards will be issued.
The admit card, which is needed for verification of the exam date, attendance and other purposes, also provides comprehensive information about the exam centers. CBSE informed CTET candidates that due to the online nature of the exam, there have been changes in the exam cities. Candidates have been allotted centers based on their current address circles which they provided during the CTET application process.
CBSE stated, “Candidates were initially asked to select a test city for the online exam. However, since the exam is now offline, the test cities have been updated based on the availability of centers. Therefore, candidates have been allotted the test cities nearest to their current address circles.” CBSE further stressed that requests for changing the exam city will not be entertained.
