Moto G14 Unveiled in India With FHD+ Display, 50MP Camera, and Affordable Price Tag

Motorola has introduced a new addition to its range of Moto G models in the country, catering to budget-conscious buyers. The Moto G14, succeeding the Moto G13, aims to please consumers with its high-end design and features that align with its price point. It is limited to 4G LTE network support, which is expected in this price range, and will be released in the coming days.

The Moto G14 has been launched in India at a price of Rs 9,999 and is available in two color options. Motorola will start selling the budget phone in the country from August 8.

Moto G14 specifications

The Moto G14 is your basic phone, but with a stylish design. It is powered by the UniSoc T616 chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and has 64GB of internal storage which is further expandable up to 1TB. The phone has a 6.5-inch FHD+ display with a punch hole, both features are hard to find in this region. The screen also gets a Panda glass protector.

Motorola claims the phone will get the Android 14 update and three years of security updates. It comes with Android 13 based MyUI version with less bloatware than most phones in this segment. On the photography front, the Moto G14 has a 50-megapixel dual camera on the back and an 8-megapixel shooter on the front for selfies. The phone weighs only 177 grams, but still has a 5000mAh battery that supports 20W charging speed. Motorola has packed stereo speakers into the Moto G14, which supports Dolby Atmos.

As we said, the Moto G14 offers Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, Bluetooth, GPS and a headphone jack for connectivity. The phone gets an IP52 rating for splash and dust resistance, and for security, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The Moto G14 goes up against the new Redmi 12 4G and a host of other affordable 4G phones available in the market from brands like Infinix, Realme Narzo and others.
