Share Instagram Reels and Posts with Your Besties: Here’s How!

Meta-owned photo and video sharing platform Instagram recently rolled out a new update that allows users to post and scroll with only a select group of friends.

The new feature, highlighted by Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg, gives users more control over their privacy. With the addition of stories and notes, users can tailor their content for more personalized sharing.

Sharing posts and reels exclusively with your close friends list ensures that only members of this select group can view your stories, likes, and comments.

Users can now access the feature in the stable version of the app, which is available for both Android and iOS devices. If you don’t see the feature yet, be patient, it might be on its way. Check for updates and you should get them soon. You can share your Instagram feed and posts with your close friends by following these simple instructions:

How to share reels with close friends

– Create your post: Open the latest version of the Instagram app and tap the Plus(+) button in the bottom middle. Create your message, whether it’s a photo or a reel, then tap Next.

– Select Close Friends: On the last Share page, tap the Audience tab. You will see two options: Everyone and Close Friends. Select the circle next to Close friends.

– Share your message: Finally, tap Done and then Share in the upper right corner. Your Instagram posts or scrolls are now only visible to your close friends. They’ll see a green Close Friends icon in the upper right corner of the message, indicating that it’s for their circle of friends.

In related news, Meta-owned Instagram is also testing a new feature that will allow users to react and reply to notes in DMs using audio, photos, videos, gifs and stickers.
