Mercedes to Adopt Tesla’s Electric Vehicle Charging Standard for North American Models
Mercedes-Benz has announced its decision to incorporate Tesla’s charging technology into its new North American electric vehicles from 2025. Initially, drivers will be able to utilize the Tesla Supercharger network through a CCS-to-NACS adapter, which is expected to be available in 2024. This does not affect Mercedes’ plans to introduce its own fast charging network from this fall, according to the company.
