G20 Summit: Use MapmyIndia app to Navigate Delhi Traffic

The Delhi Traffic advisory has announced a 3-day lockdown in the city due to the G20 summit. The Delhi Police traffic advisory states that there will be traffic and movement restrictions until September 10. As the government imposes these restrictions, the residents of Delhi have concerns about traveling to important destinations such as the airport during emergencies. Delhi Police has shared Delhi Traffic Bulletin on Delhi Traffic Police Virtual Helpdesk for G20 Summit which starts on 9th and 10th September. Traffic will be affected during this time, as the restrictions will come into effect from September 8. Delhi Police have asked the public to use Mappls MapmyIndia app to ensure that they do not enter restricted areas and get stuck in traffic jams.

Mappls shared a message on its X handle saying, “During the G20 Summit in Delhi, everyone can get accurate maps and navigation for smooth guidance based on official and updated traffic reports from Delhi Police using Mappls MapmyIndia app.”

Please note that commuter permits are only issued to authorized vehicles and emergency vehicles in restricted areas. In addition, passengers arriving and departing from airports and railway stations can access the recommended routes if they have valid tickets and boarding passes. Government employees, media professionals and doctors are allowed to travel based on their identity. People traveling via New Delhi need to carry the necessary documents and use the app to facilitate navigation to their desired destination.
