To factory reset your Android phone using Settings:

Before you start resetting your phone, make sure you have backed up your data safely. Also, don’t forget that your device has enough battery to go through the reset process.

Step 1: Go to Settings app and select System option.

Step 2: When you scroll down to the end, you will find the reset option. Click on it.

Step 3: Tap on Erase All Data option. On some devices it may read “factory reset”.

Step 5: Under recovery, select wipe data.

Step 6: Then click format data under wipe data.

Step 7: After entering the verification code, click on format information option.
