Redmi Smart Fire TV launched in India; Price from Rs 13,999 – Offers, Availability and Features
Redmi Smart Fire TV Price: Chinese tech giant Xiaomi on Tuesday announced the launch of its first Fire OS powered TV – the Redmi Smart Fire TV in India. The Redmi Fire TV is based on Amazon’s Fire OS 7 operating system and offers a 32-inch screen, Dolby Audio and access to Alexa with a voice remote.

The 32-inch Redmi Smart Fire TV is available for Rs 13,999 on Mi.com and Amazon India. For a limited time, consumers can purchase the unit at an introductory price of Rs 11,999, which includes an additional offer of Rs 1,000 on Xiaomi’s website and Amazon, the company said.

With best-in-class display, audio and built-in Fire TV, the Redmi Smart Fire TV is sure to enhance the consumer’s viewing experience,” said Sudeep Sahu, Assistant Product Manager, Xiaomi India.
Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 Specifications
Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 is available in 32-inch size with HD (1366×768 pixels) resolution. The TV has 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of internal storage. The newly launched smart TV comes with Amazon’s Fire OS 7, which allows consumers to enjoy over 12,000 Fire TV app stores, including Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+ Hotstar, Zee5, SonyLiv, YouTube and more.
Consumers can stream Amazon’s mini TV and also the 70 Plus live channel. Redmi Smart Fire TV connects customers’ DTH set-top box to the live TV home screen, allowing them to seamlessly switch between DTH TV channels and OTT apps.
The new TV also supports Apple Airplay and Miracast, which enable direct mirroring from Apple and Android smartphones. For audio, the Redmi Smart Fire TV 32 has a 20W speaker system that supports Dolby audio.
The Redmi TV has Bluetooth 5 and support for dual-band Wi-Fi as well as AirPlay and Miracast. The TV also has two HDMI ports, two USB ports, AV input connections, a 3.5 mm connection for wired headphones or speakers, an Ethernet port for wired Internet connection, and an antenna connection.
Redmi Smart TV also comes with a completely new remote control, Redmi Voice Remote with Alexa. There are buttons like TV guide, playback controls, channel up/down, mute and shortcuts to popular apps. You can easily change channels, launch apps and search for titles by holding down the dedicated Alexa button and giving a voice command.
