Honor sells its phones and other products in the country via Htech which is run by ex-Realme CEO, Madhav Sheth who has teased these new phones.News

Honor updated its Magic 6 lineup by introducing the new Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate in China earlier this week. And now it looks like have company is ready to unleash these high-end devices in markets like India.

That’s right, HTech CEO Madhav Sheth has teased the launch of these products by asking users what they would like Honor to launch its next product in India. He suggested Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR or Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition. “Which innovation are you most excited to see launch in India?” he wrote.

Honor unveiled the Magic 6 RSR in China this week, which is designed with inspiration from Porsche sports cars. It includes a hexagonal camera island created in collaboration with a well-known design firm. The premium car brand also served as inspiration for the Magic6 Ultimate, which debuted alongside it, but featured a different rear panel design using composite fiber material.

Both phones feature an updated H9800 primary camera sensor that maintains the 50MP sensor, but with a better dynamic range of 15EV. Honor also states that faster and more accurate focus locks are possible with the improved Magic6 RSR autofocus.

The Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate run Android 14 with MagicOS 8.0 and feature a 6.80-inch Full HD display with a resolution of 1280×2800 pixels and an adaptive 120Hz refresh rate thanks to the LTPO panel. Both models have a 4nm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

Behind them are three camera modules, led by a 180-megapixel periscope telephoto sensor that supports optical image stabilization (OIS) and 100x digital zoom.

The Honor Porsche Design Magic 6 RSR and Magic 6 Ultimate models have a 3D depth sensor and a 50-megapixel wide-angle front camera. They have a 5,600mAh battery and enable both 66W wireless charging and 80W wired charging speed. Honor has priced the Magic 6 RSR at CNY 9,999 (roughly Rs. 1,15,200) for the single 24GB RAM + 1TB variant. The Magic 6 Ultimate starts at CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs. 80,600) for the 16GB + 512GB model. It remains to be seen how Htech will price these devices if and when they launch in India.
